Conditions of use of Mini Mate online store

These are the terms and conditions of use of the Mini Mate Website, www.minimate.com.au. By placing an order through us you state your understanding and agreement that you are bound by these terms. If you do not wish to be bound by and comply with these terms please do not use the Mini Mate online store.

Placing and Accepting orders

Orders will not be dispatched until payment in full has been received and Mini Mate is satisfied with the integrity and nature of the order.

A confirmation email will be sent to you immediately when your order is accepted by us. Mini Mate will always attempt to display each product as accurately as possible, however the colour of each product may vary according to many factors such as your computer monitor, colouring and printer. Therefore, Mini Mate cannot guarantee that the colours in the product you receive will be an exact match to the colours you see on our website. Mini Mate is not responsible for any differences in the colour you see and the actual colour of the item.

Delivery

Australia

Mini Mate uses Australia Post to deliver packages to our customers in Australia.

We offer standard post and express post. We will charge all postage as part of the purchasing process.

Please allow 7 business days for orders placed in Australia.

International

Mini Mate uses Australia post to deliver packages to our customers abroad.

We offer standard post and express post.

For international orders please allow up to 12 business days.

If you have special delivery instructions include them in the comments/special instruction section of your order.

Please note that Mini Mate cannot be held responsible for delivery delays that are beyond our control. This includes public holidays, special holidays (Christmas etc), strikes, natural disasters or any other unforeseen events.

It is the responsibility of the customer that has placed an order to inform minimate.com.au if an order does not arrive. Once we are informed that order has not arrived by the 10th business day we will lodge an enquiry with Australia Post. Mini Mate cannot be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from delivery.

Please note that if an item has been lost in shipment we will provide a replacement item only after a full investigation has taken place.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

It is important to us that you are happy with your purchase for your child. We encourage you to try on your purchased outfit on your child before you remove any of the swing tags or labels.

If you find you are not 100% happy with your purchase or have ordered the incorrect size, we are happy to exchange the item for you within five business days (does not include weekends or public holidays).

We do not refund however, we do exchange or issue a minimate.com.au online store credit. This credit issued can only be used online and within a 12 month period from the issue date.

To return an item, please e-mail us at shop@minimate.com.au and ensure that you include the following:

• Your contact details (ie name, address and phone number).
• Item you would like to exchange.
• Clear reasons for returning the item.

Please advise in the e-mail if you would like to exchange for another size, if that size is in stock. Once you have received confirmation from us via email that we can exchange your item, please mail it to the following address:

Kindly note that the item must be received by Mini Mate no more than fourteen business days from the purchase date on your purchase. We will only accept items that have all tags attached to the garment as you received it.

Please note that the cotton used for the garments is sensitive to harsh washing detergents. Please ensure that you follow the washing instructions located on the garment. We will not refund or exchange any items where it is evident that damage has been caused through the washing and drying process.

If we receive the item and believe it has been worn or damaged, the item will be returned to you with no exchange and we may charge you the postage costs.

There will be only one exchange per item.

We will otherwise only exchange items as required by law or at our discretion.

Use of Mini Mate website

You agree that you will be personally responsible for the use of this website and for all of your communication and activity on the Mini Mate website. We reserve the right to deny access to this website or any part of this website at any time without prior notice. We may refuse you access to this website on a temporary or permanent basis if found that you engaged in any illegal conduct, were discourteous to other users, or otherwise did not comply the Terms of Conditions of Use of the Mini Mate Website.

All care is taken to ensure that the minimate.com.au website and data transmissions are free from viruses. Kindly note however that it is your responsibility to ensure that your computer scans any such data for viruses.

Overseas Customers

Certain countries charge specific taxes such as customs fees, import duties or other tariffs on the goods ordered. Such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer, hence they are out of our control. We strongly recommend that you contact the relevant government/tax authority in your country to confirm if such charges apply to your purchase with us.

It is also a criminal offence to ask us to declare the merchandise as “gift” and mark the value of the parcel accordingly. Do not ask us to mark the parcel as a gift to under estimate its value, we kindly thank you for understanding.

It is only used for the purpose of processing your order. We do not disclose, distribute or sell your information to any third parties.

Forms of Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, direct deposit and Australian money orders.

If you pay by direct deposit, please ensure that you include your invoice number as part of your payment description. Our bank account details are located at the bottom of your invoice. Please email us at shop@minimate.com.au once you have made the direct deposit. We will process your order once the money is deposited into our account and we receive confirmation of the payment from you.

We only accept Australian money orders. Please post money orders to PO Box 4087 Kingsway West NSW 2208 Australia together with a copy of your order.

Currency

Please note that all prices displayed on this website are in Australian dollars. If you are ordering from overseas, please ensure that you convert the cost of the product to your currency.

Good and Services Tax (GST)

Under Australian law, Mini Mate Pty Ltd is required to collect and remit GST to the Australian Taxation Office. All prices on our website are inclusive of 10% GST.
